I don't really know why I originally wrote this one - but it is a poetic response to Shakespeare's Sonnet 130 (link).
Shakespeare thought that to woo the ladies,
He'd insult them - but that was crazy.
For if you want to get attention,
You must give your sincere affection.
This doesn't really have of the devices I really like, but I agree with the sentiment.
